Violinist Fiona Pears returns to Christchurch for her first major concert since 2011. Her last big gig there was three days before the February 22nd earthquake when she played the Isaac Theatre Royal. And although she’s been playing at smaller venues in her home town, she’s back in front of a bigger crowd this week. Fiona brings to life virtuoso violinist Stephane Grappelli’s most loved works to mark 20 years since his death.
