PECULIAR UNIQUENESS

MEMORISE:

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 Timothy 2:20

READ: 1 Peter 2:9

MESSAGE:

The beauty of life is seen in the variety of men. If we were all the same, the earth would be very boring. God created us differently to complement one another. For instance, a banker manages your money in your bank account, a teacher trains on a subject, a farmer cultivates food, a tailor designs and makes clothes. These professionals need one another due to their individual peculiarities in order to make the world a better place.

Unfortunately, many teenagers, rather than embrace their uniqueness, give excuses such as: My ability isn't enough, I can't make it, you're better than I am, I don't have any connection, this task is too difficult, I'm too fat, et cetera. If you are one of those who use any of these degrading comments, you had better stop because you will not fulfill God's purpose for your life with that kind of mentality. Embrace your uniqueness; don't wish to be another person, instead, focus on your strengths and get better at your weaknesses. Your existence shows how important you are in Gods agenda for mankind.

PRAYER POINT:

Lord, help me to use my potential to affect my world positively.
