  • Caution - May Contain Buzzers
First off - sorry about the levels, I dunno why the bass is so heavy, maybe my sx could do with a service, or more to the point I need to go back to vinyl & cdjs and a decent (Allen & Heath!!!) mixer....
Anyway - This is pretty much my summer summary mix, the only track thats missing that I'd like to have in there is Solomuns mix of Editors, but its not out for another 3 days... and I'm a busy man...
If you liked and enjoyed this mix, please repost it, share it, sell it to your friends etc...... search for nu-skool recordings on facebook, I've about 3 tracks in the works and will hopefully have them done by the end of the year, to be released with remixes first quarter next year....

  • Should Try Harder Really
A test run I did for a mix I've been wanting to record - lost the trracklist half way through, 800's don't display waveforms and I wasn't attention once or twice...... at least I'm honest!
And, if ye don't like it, or can't take it - ye can bite my arse (note photo may not be an accurate representation of my arse)

  • Better Than Prince (SC)
This is the second ever house mix I put together, at the end of 2013, and surprisingly one which many consider one of my best attempts at arranging music to suit a mood. I've tried to upload it a few times but sc wouldn't let me.
It contains a wide variety of sounds and styles, so excuse the slips n stuff, other than that - enjoy.

  • June 1st Mess About
some older hard house sets probably from 09 /10.... excuse the rough mixing, as the title suggests, its just me drunk and a bit chilled whacking out some random hard house on the 1's & 2's......
I love hard house but you can only reach for the same tunes so much, and when you're at it ten years most of the kids at parties aren't interested in hearing it - so fuckit, I stopped playing it...
If you enjoyed this, check out my electrified comp mix, another drunken adventure through my hard house folder in serato, along with lift off 3 (the first mix on vinyl to be given to anyone) - my favourite demos. The first and the last ones!

About Peek-A-Boo - House How We Like It

From the publisher's feed

Irish born, limerick educated, rave graduated, was Perth based, now back home where I started, playing the music I fell in love with all those years ago - hard house skills proven on all levels, clubs / raves/ parties / Ibiza done and dusted, labels ran and promoted, tracks released, radio stations and shows produced - took up a long subconscious interest in the deeper side of house music and das banging techno... Now back where I started playing late 90s hard house and trance for my own entertainment.
