Cheers Mighty Companions!Over the past week we worked with Lessons 255 through 261 in the Workbook for Students, and reviewed the reading, What Is the Body? In this reading, Jesus explains that we, as the Son of God, made an image of a body for ourselves that is used to fence us off from the awareness of heaven. It is also a home of fear that has been distorted in our minds to be a place of safety. In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I share an insight I received from the Holy Spirit about our awakening process. As students of A Course in Miracles, our curiosity has us peeking over the fence line to see what is on the other side. Of course, it’s the Holy Spirit who is gently calling us to come home. This includes basic key principles in receiving Holy Spirit's Voice: Willingness, Forgiveness, Quieting the Mind, Asking for Guidance, Patience and Practice as just a few.Reflection and Journaling Exercise: We delved into the third line of the prayer, engaging in a reflective exercise designed to deepen our understanding and personal connection to its message.Reading Assignment: To prepare for our next session, we encourage you to read The Song of Prayer, 2. Forgiveness, III. Forgiveness-for-Salvation.Homework Assignments:Reflection on the Third Sentence: Continue to ponder the third sentence of the prayer.
