The video opens in a cozy, softly lit room where a young, handsome chocolate brown Labrador Retriever pup named Koa is sitting comfortably on a bed. He rests against some dark, beautifully patterned pillows in front of closed grey curtains. He looks incredibly sweet and just a little bit sleepy, perfectly showing off the cute, small stripe of white fur on his chest.
Cynni is behind the camera, looking affectionately at their precious pup and speaking to him in gentle, rhythmic Dutch. Cynni softly begins, "Koa... Koa... Koa-kola-ni... We have an extra hour tonight," referring to the daylight saving time change. As Koa stares back with his big, soulful brown eyes, Cynni continues, "And it's storming. Storming heavily. Why do you find it so scary outside? Huh? Heavy storm. And an extra hour.".
Koa listens intently with a calm demeanor as Cynni playfully ponders, "What are we going to do in that extra hour, Ko? What are we going to do in that extra hour? Are we going to be bored? Are we going to sleep? Are we going to play in the storm? What are we going to do then, Koa?". Cynni gently reaches out and pets Koa's paw, teasingly suggesting, "Are we going to snack? Nah, Koa doesn't want to snack.". Koa looks mildly unimpressed by this outrageous claim, appearing as though he might just want a nap instead. Cynni notices this and lovingly coos, "Koa needs to make sleepies, I can see it already. A big yawn from my little man. Yes, little man. Little man. You are already a big guy.".
Suddenly, the vibe shifts as Cynni playfully chants, "Snack snack snack snack snack," and brings a large, thick rolled rawhide stick into view with a dramatic, "Tada! Tada! Tada!". Koa's sleepy calm instantly vanishes. He eagerly grabs the large treat in his mouth with an excited little movement as Cynni laughs, "Ooh! Tada... Oh! Oh!".
Koa immediately settles his body down flat onto the soft blue blanket, holding the rawhide proudly and gnawing on it enthusiastically. Cynni watches their happy pup and laughs, "What do you have there Koa? What do you have? Your tail high in the air. Your tail high in the air. What do you have there Kootje?".
As Koa delightfully chomps away, Cynni asks, "What are you doing? Are you snacking? Are you snacking? Nom nom nom nom nom nom...". Thoroughly engrossed in his chewy prize, Koa happily works on the rawhide. Cynni asks one last sweet question to their pup: "Will you get through the extra hour like this, Ko? Will you get through an extra hour with the storm like this?". The video concludes with a witty and loving sign-off from Cynni: "Yes... Enjoy your meal, Kootje. Just make sure it doesn't blow away.".

This video captures a heartwarming and wonderfully chaotic moment with Koa, a growing, chocolate brown Labrador Retriever puppy who sports an endearing tiny strip of white fur right in the middle of his chest. The scene opens with Koa lounging on a light blue blanket draped over a dark grey sofa. He looks a bit sleepy and serious, staring off-camera as his loving owner, Cynni, films him up close.
Cynni affectionately pets Koa under the chin and playfully taps his nose. In a sweet, rhythmic voice, Cynni asks in Dutch, "Wij hebben een... Koa? Hebben wij Koa? Hebben wij Koa?" (We have a... Koa? Do we have Koa? Do we have Koa?). Koa looks around with soulful puppy eyes and settles down, resting his head on his paws. Cynni continues to tease the sleepy pup, asking, "En wat wil Koa? Wat wil onze Koa? Wat wil onze Koa... oh, mijn vingers opeten? Wil Koa mijn vingers opeten? Nee..." (And what does Koa want? What does our Koa want? What does our Koa want... oh, to eat my fingers? Does Koa want to eat my fingers? No...).
Building the suspense, Cynni repeatedly asks the magic question: "Koa wil... wil Koa dit? Wil Koa... wil Koa... wil Koa een... wil Koa een snackje? Wil Koa een snackje?" (Koa wants... does Koa want this? Does Koa... does Koa... does Koa want a... does Koa want a snack? Does Koa want a snack?). At the word "snackje," Koa is suddenly much more invested. Cynni gently instructs, "Ja? Ga maar mooi zitten dan. Koa mooi zit?" (Yes? Go sit nicely then. Koa sit nicely?). The stubborn puppy decides to stay comfortably sprawled out, prompting Cynni to playfully correct him: "Koa, zit. Dat is toch niet zit? Zit. Zou je toch een pootje geven?" (Koa, sit. That's not sitting, is it? Sit. Will you give a paw anyway?).
Koa finally obliges, hoisting himself up into a sit and eagerly offering his right paw. Cynni holds it tenderly, praising him, "Pootje. Koa's pootje. Ah, Koa's tandjes. Koa's pootje." (Paw. Koa's paw. Ah, Koa's little teeth. Koa's paw.). When he gets mildly distracted and starts mouthing at Cynni's hand, they ask for the other one: "Koa's andere pootje. Koa's andere pootje. Ja." (Koa's other paw. Koa's other paw. Yes.). He successfully smacks his left paw into their palm.
The ultimate reward is presented: a large, light-colored dog chew. Cynni offers it, saying, "Wil Koa een snackje dan? Hap. Koa's snackje." (Does Koa want a snack then? Bite. Koa's snack.). Koa happily grabs it in his mouth and rests his heavy head back on the blanket, contentedly chewing on his prize while Cynni cheers him on: "Koa's snackje. Njam njam njam. Lekker hè, Ko? Lekker hè, Kootje?" (Koa's snack. Yum yum yum. Tasty, huh, Ko? Tasty, huh, Kootje?).
Suddenly overcome with a burst of goofy puppy energy, Koa picks up his treat, excitedly hops off the couch, and trots over to his cozy grey dog bed on the living room floor. Cynni follows him with the camera, lovingly remarking on his treasure, "Heb jij zo'n mooi snackje? Heb jij zo'n mooi... en daar ligt nog een stukje. Maar nou heb je een nieuwe hè, Ko. Nou heb je een nieuwe. Njam njam njam. Oh, mag ik hem zien? Dankjewel." (Do you have such a nice snack? Do you have such a nice... and there is another piece lying there. But now you have a new one, huh, Ko. Now you have a new one. Yum yum yum. Oh, can I see it? Thank you.).
Koa playfully tosses the bone on his bed, fully leaning into his clumsy puppy era. Cynni laughs affectionately at his antics, "Wat een... oh, kun je er zo lekker mee gooien?" (What a... oh, can you throw it around so nicely?). He scrambles onto the bed with his back legs kicking up in the air in a hilarious, awkward stance, prompting Cynni to tease him: "Wat een mooi kontje. Wat een lekkere billen, Koa. Oh, krijg ik jouw billen te zien?" (What a beautiful little butt. What cute little buttocks, Koa. Oh, do I get to see your buttocks?).
To get his attention, Cynni calls out, "Koa. Ko. Waar ben je?" (Koa. Ko. Where are you?). The lovable, chaotic puppy instantly spins around, snatches his bone, and joyfully charges straight at the camera. The video cuts off right as his wet nose and the chew bone bump directly into the lens, perfectly accompanied by Cynni's warm, laughing greeting: "Hi. Hi, smurf. Smurf, auw." (Hi. Hi, smurf. Smurf, ouch.).
