Its produced and created by Johan Bejerholm, our producer; it was produced in his studio
The story behind the song and the video started after I saw a documentary about Mr Sean Ellis, actually one out of many with similar stories. As we are very interested in what happens in the world and many of our songs has quite serious lyrics, I suggested that we should make a song about this theme. Young black African Americans getting caught, i.e in this case, sentenced to life, and in many cases with very poor evidence and witnesses. The only crime seems to be that you have coloured skin. This is outrageous and totally unacceptable and living in Sweden, where this is not a problem at all, we were quite frustrated about the situation. We are all human beings and if you live in a democracy you should have the same rights and freedom. Then I suggested that we should dedicate this song to Mr Sean Ellis and his case. But of course we have all the other young men imprisoned for the wrong reasons in mind as well.
