Penny Clark is a PhD Researcher based in London, specialising in co-living and cohousing communities. Her research topic explores co-living and cohousing in relation to environmental sustainability, asking whether these housing typologies offer a much-needed innovative sustainable housing solution, and investigating what it is about communities that might foster sustainable practices.
Penny is also a co-founder of Conscious Co-Living, a consultancy which consults with property developers and operators on creating thriving co-living communities. Conscious Co-Living have developed a Manifesto (www.consciouscoliving.com/the-manifesto) which they believe offers a more holistic vision for the potential of co-living communities.
