DescriptionThis week we have Chris Peterson, CEO of Penny Forward, on to discuss our organization's evolution and future plans. We recount his personal journeys, the unexpected challenges like surprise babies and the COVID-19 pandemic, and how these led to the creation of Penny Forward. Our organization has developed online courses, a mobile app, and received significant grants. Looking ahead, we aim to partner with state agencies to expand services nationwide, improve content and user experience, and increase the number of accredited financial counselors. We introduce a new initiative, the Tuesday Turning Pages Book Brunch, to encourage proactive financial learning in the community. Penny Forward hopes you will keep moving forward with us for all our new adventures.
