. This Friday on The Broad Perspective join host, Vivian Komori, Greg Barnes and Laura Feliz as they discuss:PENSIONS (CA SB1234) "You Will be Made to Care" Calpers is the largest pension fund in the US and it is now underfunded by $991 billion dollars. In an effort to bolster the dying fund, in October, Gov. Jerry Brown signed in to law a provision that will add much needed monies. In passing CA Senate Bill 1234 the Californian workers will see a 3% tax on their paycheck which is planned to go up incrementally in the ensuing years. Even though the unemployment rate seems to be better the Labor participation rate doesn't support that number. The estimates from the Labor Participation information states that 1/3 of the US population is out of work. How is any of this related to the Federal Reserve? What is it's relationship to the bond market? What will be the effects of real estate?FinanceThe War on Fake News
