Pentecost Sunday has been on the Christian calendar for around 2,000 years. Sadly, this day is ignored by an extremely large segment of the global Church. The reason is because the One who is to be honored on Pentecost Sunday is also widely ignored. Holy Spirit is dismissed, boxed-in, explained away, avoided, and even flat-out denied by many who profess to know Jesus as Lord. This Pentecost Sunday message takes an intentional look at the coming of Holy Spirit and the results of His presence and power among us. We need Holy Spirit. We need to honor Him as God Almighty. We need to learn afresh how to cooperate with what He is saying and what He is doing.
