People Can't Drive

Listen Later

Jason and Rich discuss a recent incident where Jason was passed by a car with a US government license plate. Jason was angered by the driver's recklessness and lack of regard for the law. The two discuss how this is representative of a larger problem with some law enforcement agencies hiring people who don't know how to drive.

A police officer describes following a reckless driver who he eventually has to let go because he does not know the driver's military unit. The driver was speeding, driving on the shoulder, and ran a stop sign. The officer notes that the driver was wearing army fatigues and wonders if he should have gotten the driver's license plate number. The officer concludes by saying that the driver was likely part of a group of bad drivers that he knows.

In the conversation, the speaker talks about how their friend has changed since they last saw them. The speaker says that the friend is more outgoing and talkative now, and that they have been spending more time with the speaker. The speaker also says that the friend is more open to meeting new people and that they are not as shy as they used to be.

The speakers discuss a colleague's driving habits. The colleague is described as a nervous driver who talks incessantly. It is speculated that his wife may not let him speak at home, which could be the reason for his behavior. The speakers discuss a time when the colleague was pulled over and his car lurched forward when he slammed on the brakes. The speakers laughed about the incident.

HIGHLIGHTS

Yeah, she found out that her own porch turtle was like bionic the listing device. She's like, let me guess, it's a camera. I was like, no, not a camera.

There was a whole episode dedicated to that turtle. But I was hitting her up again about it. And she's like, do you really want it? And I was like, yeah.

It says when two vehicles approach at the same time, the driver to the left yields to the driver to the right. So when you pull up at the same time, the left guy is going to yield.

We pull up the stop sign at the same time. And you know how a lot of people go into limbo and then they'll start waving, and then one will start to alert and then the other does, and then they stop.

And I think it was out here on the other side of town, in the other county. But she's sitting there waiting for me to get there while these freaking blue lights pop on.
