Back in college, I thought nobody cared about my traumatic experience. I never gave anyone a chance to show they do care, and of the people I did tell my story to, lashed out, gaslit me and walked out of my life. The unfortunate truth is that so many people who struggle with mental health have had memories with someone who's treated them like shit for struggling. It makes you never want to open up or tell your story again, and overtime that builds up in a bad way.

Over the last couple months I've opened up to at least 4-5 more people in my life who have showed me that they do care about my story, and me. It took me years to realize that there are people who can be a safe space for you. So join me in this episode as I share my FOUR tips on how to become more open and owning your story and who you are as a person, regardless of what reactions you get from others.
