The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we want to be free to choose.

We complain that they only give us two candidates to choose from. We complain that every industry only has one or two major players. We complain that they never have that dress, or those shoes, in the size or color that we want.

With all that complaining, you'd think that freedom and the right to choose were things we'd really value... but they're not. And I can prove it.

Worse yet, if you're a business owner and you think freedom and choice are things your customers want, you're losing money because of it.
