Through Jens, Achim, Karl, Peter, and the small rituals of kiosks, arcades, basements, and failed plans, the text turns everyday resignation into a bleak little panorama. It is a dry, compressed story about passivity, class, self-delusion, and the quiet comedy of people waiting for life to happen to them.
