When I talk about loving yourself first, people misunderstand that this means we need to love oureslves more then we love others.
The truth is, when we love ourselves, we tell others the truth and love continues by allowing others to respond however they want.
Most of us serve with the wrong intent. Not for the benefit of the other person, but to avoid having to feel negative emotion ourselves. We say yes because we don't want confrontation. People pleasing is easier in the short term, but destructive in the long run. Listen in for how to serve in a way that feels good instead of creating resentment.
