Cancer sucks. Even after 10 years cancer free this disease is still in my head with every little ache, pain and bump I feel. Fortunately we have good screening mechanisms for many cancer types, including rectal and colorectal cancers. In this episode I share some tips on preparing for one of those screening tools, the colonoscopy.
"Between the Slides 5" for this episode:
* Consult your Primary Care Physician, or find one
* Plan ahead for the week of the procedure
* Preparation day is horrible
* Dress warm the day of and chill
* Rest the evening after and the next day
In this episode is helpful to anyone considering or already scheduled for a colonoscopy. Find it before it finds you.
