Perception is an important aspect in our relationships with love interests, in friendships and in our family dynamics. How is it that we deny our instincts when we sense things aren't as they seem. We often like to extend the 'benefit of the doubt' when people start to reveal themselves. We make excuses for behavior hoping that it is a one time occurrence.
