Adam and Even had never known fear. Yet, after they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they hid from God. Why? Because they were afraid.

That's what sin does. It puts fear in charge. And when it comes to God, it is the fear of punishment that keeps us from growing in our relationship with him.

But there is an answer the love of Christ fully demonstrated at the cross. Listen to the words of John "Perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment."

In love, Jesus stepped into your place and took the punishment for all your sins. Let me encourage you today to let that perfect love turn your fear to faith.
