To wrap up Season 1 of Perfectly Unhinged, we’re answering YOUR questions — from getting to know us a little better to revisiting the topics we’ve unpacked throughout the season. Expect honest opinions, oversharing, a few hot takes and plenty of tangents because staying on topic has never exactly been our strong suit.

We’re ending Season 1 the only way we know how: completely unfiltered and, as always, a little bit unhinged.

Thanks for coming along for the ride this season. As always, stay unhinged!

  • More Than Just A Load Of Washing

This week on Perfectly Unhinged, we’re talking about the mental load — the invisible list of things you’re constantly remembering, organising, anticipating and somehow keeping track of… even when nobody asked you to.

From remembering appointments and birthdays to knowing what’s in the fridge, planning the weekend, keeping friendships alive and somehow being the person who knows where EVERYTHING is — why does it feel like our brains never get to clock off?

We’re looking at the mental load from both sides: what it looks like in a relationship, and what it looks like when you’re single and responsible for your entire life yourself.

Is it really about who does more? Or is it about who has to think about what needs to be done in the first place?

Expect plenty of personal stories, questionable coping mechanisms and a few “wait… you don’t do that too?” moments.

Because apparently, remembering everything is a full-time job🫠

  • Delulu Dating Diaries

Dating… where the highs are high, the red flags are somehow invisible, and the stories are always better once you’re safely out the other side 😂

In this episode of Perfectly Unhinged, we’re getting into all things dating — the good, the bad, the awkward and the downright questionable. From first dates and instant icks to ghosting, situationships, red flags and the questionable decisions we’ve all made in the name of finding love.

We’re sharing our own dating stories, the lessons we learned along the way, and asking the age-old question… how are we actually supposed to date in this day and age?!

Because if dating has taught us anything, it’s that sometimes you just have to laugh about it. 💘

Another episode of Perfectly Unhinged — because apparently we have no shame and even fewer secrets.

  • Why did nobody tell us these 20 things sooner??

We’ve all had those moments where we think, “WHY did nobody tell me this sooner?!”

In this episode, we’re sharing the things we wish we’d known a little earlier — the lessons, realities, mistakes and little truths that only seem to come with experience.

From friendships and relationships to careers, growing up, navigating your 20s and figuring out who the hell you actually are, we’re getting honest about the things we’ve learnt the hard way (so hopefully you don’t have to).

Because sometimes the best advice is the advice you only understand once you’ve lived it.

Come for the life lessons, stay for the oversharing. 🤝🏼

  • The Infertility Chapter

Trigger warning: This episode discusses infertility, IVF and pregnancy.

In this episode, we get real about infertility, IVF and the emotional rollercoaster of desperately wanting to become a mum.

Lily shares her infertility journey — from the heartbreak and uncertainty of wondering if motherhood would ever happen, through IVF, the moments she lost faith, and ultimately becoming Ruby’s mum.

We also talk about what it’s like watching other people navigate fertility journeys, and how being exposed to those stories has shaped Molly’s own thoughts and feelings about the future.

It’s an honest conversation about hope, grief, uncertainty, friendship and the complicated emotions that can come with trying to build the family you’ve always dreamed of.

Whether you’re currently in the thick of infertility, have walked this road before, are supporting someone who is, or simply want to understand a little more about what it can feel like — this one’s for you🤍

  • The life checklist we never agreed to

Degree. Career. Partner. Engagement. Wedding. House. Kids. Holidays. Somewhere along the way, we’re handed a checklist for what a “successful” life is supposed to look like — but who actually decided we need to tick all the boxes, and in that order?

In this episode, we unpack the pressure to follow the traditional life timeline, what happens when you feel ahead, behind or completely off track, and whether ticking every box actually means you’re happy. Lily has ticked a lot of the boxes and has found herself wondering… what now? Meanwhile, Molly is proof that there’s no one right way to do life.

Because maybe the checklist was never the point💭

  • Big girl jobs

What’s it actually like to work in healthcare and law? 👩‍⚕️⚖️

In this episode, we’re talking all things careers, ambition and the never-ending battle of trying to have a life outside of work.

Molly gives us an insight into life as a radiographer, while Lily shares what it’s really like working as a lawyer — from the highs and lows of our careers, to the things people don’t necessarily see behind the scenes.

We chat about how we ended up in our careers, what we love (and maybe don’t love 😂), career expectations, workplace pressure, money, ambition and whether having a “successful” career actually means having to sacrifice other parts of your life.

And, of course, we get into the big one: work-life balance.

Does it actually exist? Can you be ambitious without letting work consume you? What happens when your priorities change? And how do you balance a career with relationships, friendships, family and, you know… actually having a life?

Two very different careers, two very different experiences, and absolutely no idea if either of us has figured out the whole work-life balance thing yet. 🫠

  • When did friendships get so complicated?

Friendships in your 20s… why are they so complicated?

In this episode, we’re getting into how friendships change as we get older, why some people stay and others slowly drift away, and whether it’s actually normal for friendships to look completely different from what they did in your early 20s.

We chat about friendship effort imbalances, mum guilt, making friends as a new mum, maintaining friendships when you’re single and travelling, and the reality of trying to stay close when your lives couldn’t look more different.

We also get a little personal and talk about how our friendship has changed over the years — from being at uni and living away from each other, to navigating completely different stages of life now.

Basically… friendship breakups, friendship guilt, growing apart, growing together and everything in between.

Because sometimes maintaining a friendship in your late 20s feels like another full-time job.

And, of course, we finish with our Perfectly Unhinged Moments — because what would an episode of Perfectly Unhinged be without a few questionable stories?
