He completed his BSc from Mumbai University and Learnt PFT in the Respiratory Medicine Department at KEM Hospital. 

Mr. Shetye was the first paramedic to open a Pulmonary Function Lab in Mumbai.  

He’s a faculty to the Spirometry workshop conducted by the Indian Chest society and regularly trains technicians to master PFT.
