Joe Biden and his administration made headlines recently when they claimed that the Trump administration left them no plans for the coronavirus and the distribution of the vaccine. They claimed the Trump administration was simply getting by and that they must essentially start over. Except that was not entirely the truth. 

Dr. Fauci even admitted that they were not starting over. He said that there was distribution taking place, but that they were tweaking it. By tweaking it he meant that they were abolishing Operation Warp Speed and the distribution of the vaccine entirely. 

Trump officials cite dozens of meetings, pages of plans and documents, and the official handoff of all the work they had done regarding the pandemic and the vaccine. It appears that the one that is really without the plan is Joe Biden, as he simply follows what Trump did for him. 

Mitch McConnell reportedly dropped his bid to save the filibuster as well. Some on the left celebrated this as a win, but McConnell is banking on his negotiations. He has two Democrats that have agreed not to vote to abolish the filibuster and has another trick up his sleeve. Jared explains the details and how he still does not trust the Democrats. 

Twitter also released a new function this week called Birdwatch. The feature allows users to fact check each other as if the labels that Twitter placed on conservative material was not enough. The issue now is that there is no clear guidance on how the program will work. Will it build up against people with enough complaints and cause them to get booted from the platform? Either way, it's a dangerous move by Twitter that is sure to backfire.
