This episode of the Motherhood Merged Podcast is focused on the struggles and feelings of overwhelm that come with motherhood.
Since March of 2019 I have been on a journey to build an authentic and judgement-free community for women, specifically mothers. At some point in my efforts, one thought came to me and has continued to bubble up in conversations among mothers at all ages and stages of their journey.
It's this idea that motherhood is really hard. But many of us have this innate skill or have been conditioned to make it look easy. So the question I started asking myself is what would motherhood look like if it were easy.
This conversation dives deep into the pressures moms face, how you might be unintentionally suffering, and why it's important to explore this idea of letting it be easy. Its a little bit of tough loved mixed with the support you need to know you aren't alone if you set your parenting expectations for yourself at a high level.
Part 2 of this series on letting things be easy will be featured in episode 10.
