To persist means to continue firmly in a course of action in spite of difficulty, opposition, or failure.  During these difficult days it is important that we persist IN prayer despite being discouraged and disappointed by the news we continue to hear!  It is through prayer that we will receive the answer(s) needed to help us through these challenging times.  Be resolved to persist in prayer!  It really does work!
