As a 19 year old, on a full ride academic scholarship, David always imagined himself to be a business owner. However, the notion of having to wait to graduate to start a business did not agree with it one bit. This is a motivational interview where David at 19 decided to put all his eggs into one basket, take out a quarter of a million dollar loan and bet on himself while everything and almost everyone was against him. He takes us on the challenges of opening up a gym at a young age, opening during COVID and the backlash he got from it. David is the owner of one of the most popular gyms in Ventura County, House of Gains. It has everything a customer would want, no yearly contracts, open 24/7, amazing merchandise and allowing members to film social media content if they desire. Throughout the podcast, David opens up about the two most important thing in this whole journey, his wife and his gym members.
