Luke 11:1-13.

Persistent God-centered prayer is heard by a good Father who provides. When we aren't sure what to do asking is always good. An unknown disciple models this for us by asking Jesus how to pray. In response Jesus teaches not only how to pray but also encourages shameless persistence in prayer to a good Father who cares to provide.
