Most everyone has personal Armageddons - great battles fought and won, fought and lost, fought and fought again. It is the place that wants to destroy my peace and joy and rob me of my value. For some it is fear, for others it is insecurities, lust, alcohol or drugs, a desperate need for affirmation, significance or love - all trying to get it from man and not God.
