• One of the main reasons for the racial wealth gap is burdens
• If you’re the person expected to take care of everybody, you’re screwed

• When someone is reaching out to you, your job is to grab and use more muscles than the person reaching out
• Unstable people can only stabilize themselves one way, by grabbing on to a stable person and destabilizing them

Defending Your Last Name

• Your last name is not your last name; it is your corporation
• You need a financial person in your life to tell you to chill out during bad time
• You can’t chill out if you haven’t put up your defenses properly
• If you don’t know who you are, it’s a blessing, because you now get to decide who you’re going to be
• Wherever God is, that thing is blessed, and whatever God blesses grows
• If your finances aren’t blessed, God ain’t in it
• Your finances is like a 5 gallon bucket of mud
• To clean out all of the mud, it’s going to take 1000 gallons of fresh water, so you can’t get weary

• The Universe don’t bless people by themselves.
• The blessings you try to get by yourself are limited blessings.
• We all need someone to tell us “I’ve been there, don’t do that.”
• Your defense needs to be set up.

• Your real problem is that you don’t know who you are. Your identity has been mistaken. You have been bamboozled. You have been run amok. You don’t know that God ain’t supposed to be broke.
• Be mad at your finances, but don’t take it any further.
