Dr. Thomas Widiger is a professor of psychology at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Widiger's research interests include the diagnosis and classification of psychopathology, the dimensional models of personality disorder, and the validity of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th edition, or DSM-IV.
