She completed her medical degree at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. She then went onto complete her otolaryngology residency at University of Cincinnati. She serves as a leader in the Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, SRF, and Women in Otolaryngology Section. She has published 20 chapters and peer reviewed journal articles.
