John 17:22 Jesus greatest prayer for the church to be united, it's not. Relational pain.

Matthew 26:39 : "May this cup be taken from me". God's will may be for us to suffer.

Prayer is less a source of power than of influence.

We are called to redeem and repurpose our suffering.
