Pete Stables is a Level 4 Advanced REPS Accredited BAWLA Strength & Conditioning Coach, Ultra Distance Athlete, BPU British Record Holder in Powerlifting, ASICS Frontrunner, Author and Fitness Writer, with regular contributions to elitefts.com, asics.com, liftbigeatbig.com and in print for bodybuilding magazine âPerfect Bodyâ. He is also the author of two ebooks âThe Skinny Guys Guide to Building More Muscleâ and âThe Southpaw Strength Methodâ, which was spawned off the back of an article for elitefts in 2015 which ranked as the number one viewed (highest traffic) article for the next few years.
As an athlete, Pete has held competition bests of a 250kg raw squat, 150kg bench press and 272.50kg deadlift. He has also completed numerous endurance events including the âOnerâ (82 mile trail race over the cliffs of Dorset) and running from London to Paris (450km in 10 days) in 2019, alongside placing in the top ten men at Giants Head Marathon a couple of months later, weighing in at 97kg.
