Have you ever picked up the Bible, turned through the pages and said to yourself, “Where in this massive book can I find something that relates to my life right now?” or asked, “Is there anyone in this book that I can relate to?”

At times have you come away from interacting with others about Spiritual things and thought - “Is there more? - There has to be more!”

Sometimes there seems to be a disconnect between what it means to have faith in Christ and to live in the reality of this present world. The Christian life is not meant to be disconnected from our current reality. 

This Fall we will be looking together at one of the most practical and culturally relevant books in the New Testament. Within the book of 1 Peter we find practical encouragement and personal instruction on living today in relationship with the God who saves us, the family into which He has included us and the world that He is using us to reach.
