What is the first question the disciples ask of the man born blind from his birth?    They didn’t ask Jesus to help or heal him, but rather they asked who’s fault it was that he was born blind – him or his parents.   

It’s really taking the place of God if we seek to try and judge.     We are called to bring the hope of Jesus to people, not judge someone for the state they are in.

When we read this account we can identify with the disciples.    Jesus said this blindness was to make evident the works of God.
