Today, we’re bringing you another session from our recent conference in Sydney the FSC Leaders Summit, this time from Peter Costello.

He was the longest serving Treasurer in Australia’s history, from 1996 to 2007… and the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 1994 to 2007.

He introduced the largest tax reform in Australian history, which included the GST.

He set up Australia's system of financial regulation with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, and the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority established in 1998.

He’s now the Chairman of Australia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Future Fund.

First he shares his insights about the current political and economic landscape, then FSC CEO Sally Loane sits down with him for a Q&A session.
