Peter Gray is a research professor at my alma matter, Boston College, and the leading psychologist in the field of Self-Directed Education. He is the author of several books including Free To Learn: Why Unleashing the Instinct to Play Will Make Our Children Happier, More Self-Reliant, and Better Students for Life which served as the foundation for my senior thesis.
