Peter Yu 俞宏榮 is an actor in local Chinese television and films. You may have seen Peter in the films "A Land Imagined"(directed by Yeo Siew Hua) and "Wonderland" (directed by Chai Yee Wei).
"A Land Imagined" (released in 2018) played at the 29th Singapore International Film Festival, where it was named Best Asian Feature Film by a jury led by Hong Kong director Stanley Kwan. It was the first time a Singaporean film had won the award. Also in 2018, Peter Yu won the Best Actor award at the Canberra Short Film Festival for the film, "The Crematorium Man".
Peter was one of the cast members in "Last Shadow at First Light" - a supernatural drama film written and directed by Singaporean director Nicole Midori Woodford. The film premiered at the 71st San Sebastián International Film Festival in September 2023.
