BIll Gosney, a Trustee at Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery, gives tours about the history of our town,

He recently took Town Councilors from the new Street Scene Sub Committee around Folly Lane, one of the oldest routes in Petersfield, to explain its significance. Bill, a history expert talks about Petersfield's location bringing many historical figures to the Town and the creation of Baroness Petersfield. He also, semi-seriously, proffers an explanation for Peter the Great naming his new Capital city St Petersburg.
