Hello everybody, and welcome back to Stones&Bones. In this podcast, we'll be talking about petrified wood. Petrified wood is a really unique fossil, there isn't anything like it. Petrified wood is the fossilized remains of ancient trees. These trees can be anywhere from 180 million years old to just a couple million years old, which is pretty recent in the fossil world. Petrified wood is a massively collected fossil because of it's uniqueness from any other fossil in the world. Hope you enjoy!
