We also cover composition and angles to make the food appear even more interesting in a photo. There is a right time to take your food photos. We discuss some special requests you may want to make to help keep food fresh while you prepare for your photos.

Finally, we'll give some advice on when to visit restaurants, how to get cooperation for your photos, and a few things you should avoid so you don't disturb other guests – or your server.
