Dr. Yen Nguyen is one of the Medical Information Specialists with VeganMed. She is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist who also practices in the community retail setting. Her recent state-of-the-art paper titled "Embracing Medication Needs of Patients based on Ethical, Dietary, and Religious Preferences” delves into the complex needs of patients who avoid medications containing animal-derived ingredients. During her free time, she’s out exploring the world and discovering new food destinations.

Dr. Jasmine Uchi is a pharmacist who leads Medical Information and Innovation with VeganMed. Being the first responder for patient inquiries, she is internally known as the “alpha-gal pharmacist.” She is currently conducting a study on alpha-gal allergy, exploring its impact on patients’ quality of life. Her goal is to raise awareness of AGS among healthcare professionals to help make a real difference in patients’ lives. For fun, Dr. Uchi enjoys journaling and traveling while spending quality time with her newly adopted 5 year old Frenchie.
