There are many reasons why pharmacists are need and we can help achieve the quadruple aim.

Despite concerns about pharmacist supply and significant reimbursement concerns, there is a need for pharmacists and we can increase the demand.

Historically we try to do more with less and we are hesitant to ask for resources.

Should have 1 pharmacist integrated with every primary care clinic

2. Innovation & Intrapreneurship for Practice Advancement - expand pharmacy roles and technology to advance practice across the continuum of care

3. Journey to Justify Resources

It is important for us to learn the process to justify resources in our organizations. The main path is usually a business plan.

When we come up with a new strategy - we basically have 3 ways to resource it

o 1. Use existing resources if there is the capacity

o 2. Reallocation of resources

o 3. Justifying new resources through business plans
