Sarah's Country

Phil Duncan | “Powerful high moves in, Tasman Sea low next week”

Listen Later

As part of this week’s “News Maker” show of Sarah’s Country, Phil Duncan from RuralWeather discusses how rainfall is looking for the rest of February and the main weather features going into March.

There is a small but potent low coming out of the Tasman Sea area on Tuesday/Wednesday which will bring a burst of wind and rain into southern and western NZ.

This will be followed by a cooler change in the lower South Island. Elsewhere, it’s looking drier than average for the rest of the month of February.
