Phil talks about how we are vulnerable, like jars of clay, but how these verses remind us that we are:

  • Hard pressed by life, but not crushed
  • Perplexed, but not in despair
  • Persecuted, but not abandoned
  • Struck down, but not destroyed

    • We may be like jars of clay, but we have treasure in our jars of clay, and that we have a hope: Jesus.
