The Philadelphia Eagles returned to New Jersey and defeated the New York Jets by a score of 33 to 18. Gardner Minshew II got his first career start as an Eagle after Jalen Hurts was ruled out with injury Saturday night. Gardner quickly developed a relationship with tight-end Dallas Goedert as they hook up for two touchdowns in the first half. The struggling Philadelphia Flyers take on the Tampa Bay Lightning Sunday night. The Philadelphia Sixers got a big road win over the Atlanta Hawks Friday night and travel to take on the Charlotte Hornets Monday night. The College Football Playoffs have been announced as the Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Cincinnati Bearcats in one semi-final and the Michigan Wolverines take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the other semi-final matchup.
