Representative Bob Brady’s top political strategist is guilty of 9 out of 11 counts of campaign finance fraud. Yesterday a federal jury convicted Ken Smukler of coordinating multiple illegal contributions, and falsifying finance reports. He did this for candidates in back-to-back Congressional races, including Brady’s 2012 bid for reelection.
