It’s Friday, February 1st. Philly City Councilman Bobby Henon [HEE-nin] was in federal court Thursday and pleaded not guilty to charges that include embezzlement, bribery, and theft. Henon and union boss John Dougherty [DOCKERTY] were indicted Wednesday as part of a federal probe that painted a picture of Henon taking actions on the council at the direction of Dougherty.
