Good morning. It’s Thursday, April 18th Philadelphia is still growing, according to the census. Between 2017 and 2018, Philly added about four thousand residents, the twelfth year in a row that the city’s population has increased. The streak follows more than 30 years of population declines between the 1970s and the 2000s. While that’s changed, Philly is growing relatively slowly, overall, compared to other metro areas with more than a million people.
