Sisters, we were hoping to talk to you about our relevance to Christ and His advocacy for us... Instead, we felt moved to contend and bring focus on our common faith. We are in uncertain times and appeal to you to please remember your first love, JESUS! Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him. He uses "Phileo" which speaks of generous and affectionate love, a grand fondness, and abiding friendship. Loving Him is loving each other. "But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life."
