DU and UTEP have teamed up to launch duckDNA, a revolutionary research program that will transform waterfowl hunters into waterfowl scientist.


The duckDNA project is a new citizen science initiative launched by Ducks Unlimited and the University of Texas at El Paso. 300 hunters will be selected to collect a tissue sample from harvested ducks for genetic analysis. Genetic profiles will then be delivered back to hunters in their individualized portals.

Terry was an Athletic Director and head football and head baseball coach for over 40 years, and he is a 2020 inductee of the Texas High School Baseball Hall of Fame. He retired with a record of 144 wins and 37 losses in football and 652 wins and 134 losses in baseball with 6 consecutive trips to the State Championship tournament.
