As Paul's life is bound to Christ, he has no insecurities about his fate. The advance of the gospel is a source of ongoing confidence.

Philippians 1:19-30

Spurgeon told his students to preach at least five times a week to help their voice. Lacking so many opportunities, I started preaching to the wall with a recorder. It took about a month for me to realize the preacher needs to HEAR the gospel more than work on his voice. I need to hear it over and over again. Perhaps others do too.
